Meet StableMates
For everyone who’s ever thought, “I know I wrote that vaccine date down somewhere…”
StableMates keeps your animals’ important details in one handy place, so you can spend less time hunting through drawers, text messages, and the mystery folder called “I’ll organize this later.”
Our app create profiles for your horses, dogs, cats, and chickens. Add photos, health records, certificates, microchip numbers, memberships, and upcoming care reminders. Keep track of vet visits and expenses, scan receipts, and attach event flyers to the calendar. Horse owners can also keep tack and fitting notes, medication schedules, training logs, show results, temperature records, and lump or wound photos with each profile. For all animals, there is a Show/event record to document the event, the division, and the placing! Handy for those of us with OTTBs who like to enter our Jockey Club TIP info for year end awards.
Why would I want to take pictures of a lump, you ask? Well, if you are like me, I obsess over lumps and bumps. Is it getting bigger? StableMates has an in-app camera that has a grid to take a photo of the lump. This allows comparison photos without trying to take the photo exactly like you did before. Fit the lump into the outlined area and then you can see if change is occurring by comparing photos.
StableMates is being built from real-life experience: the busy, joyful, occasionally muddy life of caring for animals—and the very human art of being a little unorganized. It’s here to help you keep the details straight, so you can get back to the important things: your animals, your people, and finding that Coggins document before getting pulled over by the livestock inspector in some fair away state.
Our app is still in the development process for Android and will be uploaded to Google Play soon! Apple IOS is also being worked on but may take a bit more time as I need a newer macbook apparently.
